Description

The African Youth Climate Assembly (AYCA) is a vibrant and all-encompassing event designed to bring together and empower young Africans, highlighting their perspectives and innovative approaches in the worldwide battle against climate change. Scheduled for September 1st to 3rd, 2023, in Nairobi, Kenya, AYCA aims to unite the voices of African youth and display their impactful solutions.

The conference will attract young change-makers from more than 60 countries, both within Africa and beyond, providing them with a platform to showcase their initiatives and facilitating connections with key stakeholders, including AU Heads of State, policymakers, influential figures, business leaders, non-state actors, and esteemed scientists.

This programme is open to domestic students.

Eligibility Criteria

???? Age between 18 - 35 years old, 
???? Be a Kenyan citizen 

???? Showcase outstanding engagement in climate change and youth led actions on community/national/international level.
