American Australian Association Graduate Education Scholarships 2024 is available to undertake Masters, PhD, Post Doctorate level programs at Australian Universities, USA Universities.

Benefits

Graduate Education Scholarships: 

• Provides up to US $40,000 to American and Australian students for full-time graduate study (Master's, Ph.D., or Postdoctoral research) in STEM, Health, Medicine, or Sustainability fields.

Graduate Education Indigenous Scholarships: 

• Offers US $40,000 to Native American, Alaskan Native, Native Hawaiian, Aboriginal Australian, and Torres Strait Islander students for full-time graduate study in each other's countries.

Aurora Indigenous Education Scholarship: 

• Grants Aboriginal Australian or Torres Strait Islander students US $40,000 for full-time graduate study in any field at a U.S. institution.

Specialty Field Scholarships:

• Northrop Grumman – American Australian Association Scholarship: Up to US $40,000 for Australian students in AI, Quantum Physics, Defence Tech, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
• South Australia Defence, Space & Cyber Scholarship: US $20,000 - $40,000 for PhD or Postdoctoral research in Defence, Space, or Cyber Security, with a South Australian institution affiliation.
• Sustainable Health Care Funding (SHCF) Scholarship: US $20,000 - $40,000 for American graduate students conducting comparative research in health care policy and management in Australia.
• David Nason Journalism Scholarship: US $20,000 - $40,000 for Australian graduate students in digital, print, broadcast, or multimedia journalism studying in the U.S. for one year, or experienced journalists to undertake investigative projects with a U.S. media outlet.

Eligible Nationalities

This scholarship is open to  Australian, Indigenous Australian, American, or Indigenous American individuals.

Eligibility Criteria

Citizenship/Residency:

• Australia: Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
• United States: Must be an American citizen or permanent resident.

Field of Study:

• Research or study must be within the supported fields.

Educational Requirements:

• Must have a formal letter of offer from an accredited institution, program, or course at the time of application.
• Educational programs must be at least one year of full-time study.

Note: Dual citizens are not eligible.
