Financial Support for Up to 2 Years:

• Full tuition coverage: A*STAR will pay all your tuition fees for the duration of your Master's program (up to 2 years).

This scholarship is only open to Singapore citizens.

Eligibility Criteria for A*Star National Science Scholarship:

General Requirements:

• Be a citizen of Singapore.
• Possess (or be on track to receive) a strong bachelor's degree (minimum: 2nd Upper Class Honours or equivalent) in a relevant field. This applies even if you're in your final year, but the scholarship will only be awarded upon successful graduation with the required grade.
• Have applied (or plan to apply) for a Master of Research (or similar) program at a prestigious international university, focusing on a designated research area.
• Demonstrate a strong passion for pursuing a career in research.

Mid-Term NSS (Masters) Applicants:

• Be a Singapore citizen.
• Currently enrolled in a top university abroad, with at least one semester completed at the time of application.
• Maintain excellent academic standing in your current degree program.
• Show clear potential and/or accomplishments in research.
• Have at least one recommendation letter from a tenured professor or equivalent in your field.

Application Deadlines:

There are two application cycles for the NSS (Masters) scholarship:

• First Cycle: Applications open on January 1st and close on April 1st. (Closed)
• Second Cycle: Applications open on July 1st and close on October 1st. (Going to be opened soon)
