Degree Level

Australian Northern Territory Government Scholarship 2024 for International Students is available to undertake Bachelor, Masters, PhD level programs at Australian Universities.

Available Subjects

Following subject are available to study under this scholarship program.

  • All Subjects

Benefits

  • English Language (ELICOS): Covers up to $2,500 of your first semester's tuition fees.
  • Vocational Education and Training: Provides financial support of up to $3,750 for your initial term's tuition.
  • Schools: Offers up to $5,000 towards the first year's tuition at your chosen school.
  • Higher Education: Contributes up to $6,000 to the cost of your first year's tuition fees.

Eligible Nationalities

This scholarship is open to international students of all nationalities except  Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

  • Be admitted to study in the Northern Territory (NT). This means you must have applied and received an offer of admission from an NT education or training provider.
  • Demonstrate a strong academic record, active community involvement, and leadership qualities.
  • Be enrolled in a program offered by one of our participating providers. A list of these providers can be found under "Participating providers" (link to be provided).
  • Meet the academic and English language proficiency requirements set by your chosen provider.
  • Be a resident from outside the NT (interstate or overseas) and intend to relocate to the NT when your studies begin.
  • Currently not be living in the NT or enrolled in a program with an NT education provider.
  • Not hold any other scholarships, with the exception of the Charles Darwin University Global Merit Scholarship.
  • Submit your completed application form to Study NT.
  • Not be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia or New Zealand.

Application Timeline:

Charles Darwin University applications must be submitted no later than the dates below:

 Higher education scholarships:
  • Summer semester 2024: 11 October 2024
  • Semester 1 2025: 24 January 2025

TAFE scholarships:

  • Semester 1 2025: 22 November 2024

Department of Education applications must be submitted no later than the dates below:

  •  30 September 2024 

Applications are open throughout the year for all other education and training providers participating in the scholarship program.
