The selection of the scholarship beneficiaries is the exclusive responsibility of Católica Global School of Law, using as criteria the candidates’ belongingness to an underrepresented group and their academic merit.

Católica Global School of Law will provide a full scholarship for one member of the European Law Students’ Association (ELSA). In order to be eligible for the scholarship, you must apply through as a regular student and, in addition, you must submit a separate motivation letter to ELSA International explaining why you are the right applicant for the scholarship.
The motivation letter must not exceed 1000 words and must be sent by email to elsa@elsa.org.
Católica Global School of Law LL.M. programmes are eligible for funding under FJN’s Income Share Agreement model.
The partnership enables students who wish to apply to Católica Global School of Law’s LL.M. programmes to have their tuition fees fully covered by FJN. Under the Income Share Agreement model, students will only have to reimburse the fees after entering the job market and if they reach a pre-determined level of income. If, for any reason, the scholarship holder sees his or her income fall below that level, FJN will adjust the reimbursement amounts, so that they are always in line with the holder’s financial abilities.
FJN’s scholarships are aimed at candidates who reside in Portugal and hold Portuguese citizenship.
The application process is entirely online-based. To apply, students will need to access ISA FJN’s portal, select ‘Universidade Católica Portuguesa’ and look up for Católica Global School of Law’s LL.M. programmes.
Católica Global School of Law is committed to making its programmes accessible to every admitted student. Funding options may be granted on the basis of a combination of need and merit. In order to benefit from funding, you must apply through as a regular student, including an additional letter describing your particular circumstances.
This programme is open to domestic and international students of all nationalities.
1) Application form. Complete the online application form and upload the required documents, which are listed below. All candidates must hold a first degree in law or have substantial legal academic background.
2) Pre-screening. Next, our Admissions Committee will conduct a preliminary assessment of your application. If you meet the requirements, you will be contacted in order to schedule a personal interview.
3) Online interview. You will then be personally interviewed by Católica Global School of Law’s Executive Dean. Following the interview, the Admissions Committee will make its final decision.
4) Final decision. After the interview, you should expect to receive the final decision within 1 to 2 weeks. Successful applicants will be sent a formal letter of admission.
