This fully funded scholarship is available for both national and international students aiming to pursue a Master’s by Research or a Doctoral Degree at CDU. Eligibility Criteria

PhD Entry Requirements

To be eligible for a PhD program, applicants must have completed one of the following:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with First or Upper Second Class Honours
  • A Master’s degree with a substantial research component

MRes Entry Requirements

To be eligible for an MRes program, applicants must have completed one of the following:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with First or Second Class Honours
  • A Master’s by Coursework or Extended Master’s degree with a substantial research component

Research Experience

Applicants with research experience, such as publications or creative outputs, may be eligible for an enhanced assessment of their qualifications. Please contact the HDR Team for further guidance on how research experience can be considered.

English Language Requirements:

To be eligible for a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) program at CDU, you'll need a minimum score of 6.5 on the IELTS (Academic) test with no band score lower than 6.0. For alternative English proficiency tests, visit the CDU website for details on acceptable forms of documentation.
