Eligibility Criteria

• Citizenship: Must be a citizen of a country other than China.

• Educational Background:

1. For master’s programs: A bachelor’s degree with excellent academic performance and under 35 years of age.
2. For doctoral programs: A master’s degree with excellent academic performance and under 40 years of age.

• Language Requirements:

1. Chinese-taught programs: HSK Level 4 or higher.
2. English-taught programs: IELTS 6.5+ or TOEFL 90+ (waived for native English speakers).

• Additional Requirements: Meet CPU’s academic and admission standards.

Application Procedure

Follow these steps to secure your CSC Scholarship at CPU:

1. Online Application at CPU

• Submit your application via the CPU Application Platform from November 15, 2024, to February 20, 2025.
• Upload all required documents.

2. CPU Initial Review and Interview

• CPU will conduct a review and interview in February or March 2025.
• Check your email for interview details. Missing the interview will forfeit your application.

3. CSC Application

• After receiving a pre-acceptance letter from CPU, complete your CSC application via the CSC Platform by March 16, 2025.
• Use CPU’s Agency Number: 10316 and select the scholarship program category: Type B.

4. CSC Review

• CPU will forward your application to the China Scholarship Council for final evaluation.

5. Result Notification

• Admission results will be published on the CPU website or sent via email.

6. Registration

• Successful candidates must register at CPU in September 2025.
