Entry requirements

Applicants should hold a recognised undergraduate degree; a degree in theatre, performance or a closely related discipline is typical, though applicants with substantial professional experience in theatre are also considered. Admissions usually require a personal statement outlining goals and interests, academic transcripts, and two or three letters of recommendation.

Depending on the applicant's focus, a creative portfolio or live/audition submission may be requested (for actors, directors or designers). International applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency to the level required by the university. Some applicants may be invited to an interview with faculty as part of the selection process.
