The bachelor programme delivers a foundation in biological and behavioural sciences, professional nursing theory and hands‑on clinical practice. Core subjects typically include human anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, health assessment, adult medical‑surgical nursing, maternal/child nursing, paediatric nursing, psychiatric/mental health nursing and community/public health nursing.

Entry requirements

Applicants are usually required to hold a secondary school diploma or recognised equivalent and to have completed prerequisite coursework in subjects such as biology, chemistry, anatomy & physiology and mathematics or statistics. For applicants who are already licensed practical nurses or associate‑degree RNs, there are often advanced placement or RN‑to‑BSN pathways that recognise prior learning and clinical experience.
