What you'll study

The programme is studio‑based and organised to build design skills, ecological understanding and technical competency across four years. Early semesters focus on design fundamentals — drawing, visual communication, 3D modelling and design thinking — alongside coursework in ecology, materials and site analysis. Intermediate and advanced studios address landscape design, urban ecologies, regional planning, sustainable site systems and community engagement.

Entry requirements

Applicants are expected to have a strong high‑school record with a portfolio that demonstrates creative ability, visual communication and design thinking. Recommended preparatory subjects include mathematics, natural sciences and art or design courses. Admission typically considers academic achievement, portfolio quality and personal statements.

International applicants must demonstrate equivalent secondary‑school qualifications and meet the university's English language proficiency requirements. Transfer applicants may apply with community college or other university coursework and should submit a portfolio and transcripts for review.
