What you'll study

The programme combines core public‑health training with specialised coursework in veterinary epidemiology, zoonoses and One Health. Core modules cover epidemiologic methods, biostatistics, public‑health ethics and programme planning and evaluation. Specialist modules typically include infectious disease epidemiology, surveillance systems, diagnostic interpretation for animal health, risk assessment for zoonotic pathogens and principles of veterinary public health policy.

Entry requirements

Applicants are normally expected to hold a recognised bachelor’s degree in veterinary medicine, animal science, biology, public health or a closely related discipline. Candidates with substantial relevant professional experience in animal health, disease surveillance or public health may also be considered.
