Entry requirements

• A completed bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Degrees in criminal justice, criminology, sociology, psychology, social work or related fields are commonly accepted.
• Submission of official transcripts and a personal statement describing academic and professional goals for the programme.
• One or more letters of recommendation, preferably from academic instructors or supervisors who can speak to the applicant's potential for graduate study.
• Relevant professional experience in criminal justice or human services is advantageous and may be considered in lieu of some academic prerequisites. Applicants may be asked to complete prerequisite coursework if their background does not include foundation-level criminal justice or research methods courses.
