What you'll study

The programme combines core finance topics with economics, quantitative methods and elective options that reflect current industry practice. Core modules typically include Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance, Investments, Financial Markets and Institutions, and Risk Management. Quantitative and analytical training is delivered through courses such as Statistics for Economists, Econometrics, Financial Modelling and Applied Mathematics for Finance.

• Intermediate and advanced corporate finance: capital structure, valuation, dividend policy
• Investment analysis and portfolio management: asset pricing, portfolio theory, fixed income and equity analysis
• Derivatives and risk management: options, futures, swaps and hedging strategies
• Financial statement analysis and managerial accounting
• Quantitative methods: regression, time-series analysis, programming for finance (Python/R)

Entry requirements

Applicants are expected to have a strong secondary-school record with solid preparation in mathematics; courses in algebra, precalculus and statistics are particularly relevant. Successful candidates demonstrate quantitative ability, analytical thinking and clear written communication.
