What you'll study

This programme blends studio-based design work with courses in ecological science, materials and construction, and planning. Core studio sequences develop skills in site analysis, concept development, technical drawing, digital modelling (CAD/BIM) and physical modelmaking. Complementary courses address plant and soil systems, hydrology and stormwater management, sustainable materials and energy systems, environmental policy, and community engagement.

Entry requirements

Applicants should hold a recognised secondary-school diploma and present a strong academic record in relevant subjects such as mathematics, biology or environmental science. Many successful applicants also have coursework or experience in studio art, design, drafting, or related extracurricular activities. A personal statement outlining interest in design and environment is typically required. Portfolios showcasing design, drawing or project work may be requested or encouraged for candidates with significant creative work. International applicants must demonstrate equivalent qualifications and sufficient English language proficiency.
