The Political Science and Government major provides a comprehensive survey of political ideas, institutions and processes at the local, national and international levels. Core coursework typically covers political theory, American government and constitutional law, comparative politics, international relations, and research methods. Students build quantitative and qualitative skills through courses in statistics for social sciences, research design, and data analysis, and explore specialised topics such as political behaviour, public policy, campaign politics, human rights, environmental politics, and public administration.
