What you'll study

This programme builds a solid foundation in microeconomics, macroeconomics and quantitative methods, then applies those tools to environmental and resource issues. Typical module areas include:

• Core economics: Principles of microeconomics and macroeconomics, intermediate microeconomic theory, intermediate macroeconomic analysis.
• Quantitative and analytical methods: Econometrics, applied statistics for economists, mathematical methods, data analysis and forecasting.

The degree normally follows a four‑year structure combining general education requirements, core economics courses, concentration electives in environmental economics and policy, and a final capstone or research project.
