• Professional registration: current, unencumbered registered nurse (RN) licence appropriate to practice and clinical engagement.
• Scholarly preparation: transcripts demonstrating graduate-level coursework in research methods and statistics, or equivalent documented experience.
• Application documents: a curriculum vitae, a statement of purpose outlining research interests and career goals, and at least three professional or academic references.
• Research fit: evidence of alignment with faculty expertise; applicants are encouraged to identify potential faculty mentors and research areas in advance.
• Additional requirements: some applicants may be asked to submit a writing sample and participate in an interview. Standardised test requirements (for example GRE) are determined by the college and may be waived in many cases.
