Entry requirements

Applicants are expected to hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering or a closely related field. Relevant professional experience can be considered where academic background is less directly aligned.

• Supporting documents — official transcripts, a statement of purpose outlining goals and experience, and one or more letters of recommendation.
• Standardised tests — the programme may accept or waive standardised test scores (such as the GRE) depending on departmental policy and applicant background.
• International applicants — proof of English language proficiency (for example TOEFL or IELTS) is required if previous instruction was not in English, and transcripts must be certified and, where necessary, evaluated for US equivalency.
