This programme combines core engineering science with applied civil engineering topics. Typical conditional offers fall within a mid-to-high range of A‑level or equivalent grades; universities also accept a range of vocational and international qualifications.
Applicants without traditional qualifications but with relevant experience or an appropriate Access qualification may be considered. GCSE (or equivalent) passes in mathematics and English are normally expected. International applicants will need to demonstrate English language competence through a recognised qualification or test.

Common roles include graduate civil or structural engineer, site/contract engineer, geotechnical or hydraulic engineer, transport planner, design engineer, and project or construction manager.
