What you'll study

The MSc in Physics is a two-year programme combining advanced taught modules, laboratory work, computational training and an independent master’s thesis. Entry requirements

Applicants should hold a relevant Bachelor’s degree in physics or a closely related subject with solid coverage of classical mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics, statistical physics and mathematics. A good academic record and demonstrable laboratory or computational skills are expected. Specific course prerequisites and the required credit distribution are listed by the department and must be checked against each applicant’s transcript.
