This programme develops technical accounting and finance skills alongside broader business knowledge. You will study financial reporting and analysis, management accounting, taxation, audit and assurance, corporate finance and quantitative methods, supported by modules on business law, ethics and professional practice. The degree is usually taken over three years full-time, with the option of an additional placement year in industry or a year abroad to enhance employability. Entry requirements

Entry is open to applicants with UK A-levels, vocational qualifications such as BTEC, the International Baccalaureate or equivalent international qualifications. Successful applicants usually demonstrate competence in a numerical or quantitative subject — for example, A-level mathematics or an equivalent. Applicants with Access to Higher Education diplomas, relevant work experience or mature applicants are considered on an individual basis.

Applicants whose first language is not English will need to meet the university's English language requirements through recognised qualifications or secure an approved English test. Some offers may be conditional and may include the requirement to achieve specific grades in relevant subjects.
