What you'll study

This programme provides a mix of technical, managerial and information‑systems subjects to prepare graduates for designing and improving enterprise processes and systems. Teaching combines lectures, laboratory work, computer modelling, project assignments and a supervised bachelor thesis.

• Core engineering and systems modules: fundamentals of systems engineering, industrial engineering, production systems, automation basics, process modelling and simulation.
• Management and economics: business economics, operations and production management, project management, quality management and entrepreneurship.
• Information technology: enterprise information systems (ERP), databases, business process modelling, decision support systems and basics of programming for engineers.

Entry requirements

Applicants are normally expected to hold a secondary school leaving certificate with a programme that includes mathematics. Selection is based on secondary school results and any nationally required entrance procedures. Proficiency in Slovenian is usually required for programmes taught in the local language; there may be options or courses offered in English and opportunities for study mobility abroad.
