RISE Germany is a competitive internship program designed to bridge the gap between academia and industry for students in Science and Engineering. It offers a unique opportunity for students studying in North American, British, and Irish Universities to gain practical experience in German companies or research institutions.

Program Objectives

Internship Details

• Duration: Up to six months between May 15 and December 31.

RISE Professional offers a comprehensive package to support interns:

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for RISE Professional, applicants must:

• Be enrolled in a Master's or Ph.D. program in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Earth Science, or Engineering (or a closely related field) at a North American, British, or Irish university.
• Be a RISE Germany alumni pursuing an undergraduate degree in a relevant field at a North American, British, or Irish university.
• Recent graduates (within 7 months of graduation) may also be eligible, depending on the internship.
• International students must have resided in their respective countries for at least 12 months before applying.
• German language proficiency may be required for some internships, but it's not mandatory for all.
