Amount of Scholarship

The scholarships offered by Dalarna University cover between 10% and 50% of total tuition fees. The awarded amount is automatically deducted from tuition fees in set amounts each semester over the duration of the program.

Scholarships for Enrolled Students

Enrolled students with exceptional academic results can also benefit from tuition fee reductions. To qualify:

• Study at least one semester (Master’s level) or two semesters (Bachelor’s level) on campus.
• Achieve excellent grades with no final results lower than a 3 or C.
• Complete all credits from the first semester/year.
• Be verified as "outstanding" by faculty.
• Successful applicants receive a 10,000 SEK tuition fee waiver for each remaining semester. Applications must be submitted three weeks before the new semester begins.

Other Scholarships

Swedish Institute (SI) Scholarships

SI Scholarships are available for students from non-EU/EEA countries, covering tuition fees and living expenses of up to 12,000 SEK per month. A travel grant is also included. The application period is from February 12-28, 2024.

Global Sustainable Electricity Project

Students in the Master’s Programme in Solar Energy Engineering from developing countries may qualify for scholarships under this initiative.
