Students applying to PhD programs are required to have graduated with at least a 3.00 out of 4.00 CGPA or equivalent. Alternatively, for those with a CGPA of 2.75 - 2.99, a minimum ALES score of 65 (for Turkish citizens) or a CGPA of 3.50 from a Master’s Program is required.
Each department has the option to grant one 100% scholarship and one 50% scholarship or offer three 50% scholarships based on the rankings from departmental evaluations.
Key Terms and Application Guidelines:
Scholarships are only available for students enrolling for the first time in their respective PhD programs. Those who have previously terminated their registration or were dismissed and seek to re-enroll are not eligible for this scholarship.
The evaluation and awarding of scholarships are conducted twice a year, aligning with Fall and Spring semester admissions.
Scholarship applicants should ensure they meet the application deadlines, as late submissions are not considered unless for exceptional reasons such as visa or transportation issues.
