EPFL Excellence Fellowship for Master students 2022 - Government of Switzerland is open for International Students, Domestic Students . The scholarship allows Masters level program(s) in the field of All Subjects taught at Switzerland Universities . The deadline of the scholarship is expired at 15 Apr 2022.

EPFL is offering a limited number of fellowships for master’s students with outstanding academic records in Switzerland. Anyone can apply to an EPFL master’s program. However, the candidates will be selected on the evaluation of their academic records. 

The main purpose of the Government of Switzerland is to assist financial students through this scholarship.

EPFL Excellence Fellowship for Master students 2022 - Government of Switzerland is available to undertake Masters level programs at Switzerland Universities.

Selected students will receive:

1. CHF 10’000 per semester 
2. Reservation of a student room in a student residence
3. A certificate of excellence (at the end of the master’s program)

Fellowship holders will be responsible to cover all expenses on their own (including rents).

Eligibility Criteria

Anyone applying to an EPFL master’s program is eligible. EPFL grants a limited number of fellowships to the most deserving candidates based on their academic records. Cumulating this fellowship with other substantial scholarships is not possible. Candidates are required to declare all the scholarships they receive during their master’s (see section 4.2). If the master at EPFL is a second master’s degree, candidates are not eligible for an excellence fellowship.

Application Procedure

External candidates

(Bachelor degree from an university abroad) They should apply via the same online form than their application to a master’s program by April 15 or December 15 (there is a box to tick indicating that the candidates profile should also be considered for an excellence fellowship).

There are no specific documents to be provided in addition to those required for the admission to the Master.

Internal candidates

(Bachelor degree earned at EPFL) Sections might contact students to ask if they want to submit an application for an excellence fellowship. Students can also submit an application to their section by January 31 or April 30. SAE – M arch 2022 Page 4 | 7 The application should contain:

1. a CV
2. a motivation letter
3. 2 letters of recommendation from professors familiar with students’ work and achievements
4. a transcript of all grades earned at EPFL Internal candidates (Bachelor degree earned at EPFL and switching to another field of study)

They should apply and provide the required documents via the admission form to a master degree (available on IS-Academia).
