EPFL Master Excellence Fellowships 2023-24 is open for International Students . The scholarship allows Fellowship level program(s) in the field of All Subjects taught at Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL) . The deadline of the scholarship is expired at 15 Apr 2023.
EPFL offers a limited number of fellowships to students with outstanding academic records who are applying to a master's program at the school. The selection process is based on the evaluation of the candidates' academic records and is conducted by a committee made up of members from various departments and services at EPFL. The competition for these fellowships is very high, with only about 3% of master's students receiving the financial support. Some of these fellowships are funded directly by EPFL, while others are provided through partnerships with foundations or private companies.
The Ăcole polytechnique fĂ©dĂ©rale de Lausanne, also known as the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne, is a public research university in Lausanne, Switzerland. Specializing in natural sciences and engineering, it is one of the two Swiss Federal Institutes of Technology.
EPFL Master Excellence Fellowships 2023-24 is available to undertake Fellowship level programs at Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL).
Following subject are available to study under this scholarship program.
CHF 10â000 per semester
Reservation of a student room in a student residence (for âexternalâ candidates only)
A certificate of excellence (at the end of the masterâs program)
Fellowship holders will be responsible to cover all expenses on their own (tuition fees, rents, etc.). The fellowship will be paid :
- provided that fellowship holders are registered as regular EPFL students (see section 4.6)
- for a maximum of 4 semesters (3 for a 90-credit Masterâs program). No extension is possible, even in case of a minor or for any other reason that might extend the duration of studies.
If there is a paid internship or Master's project (see section 4.4), only 3 payments will be possible (2 for a
90-credit Master programme), provided that the renewal criteria are met at the end of the 1st year (see section 3.1).
Anyone applying to an EPFL masterâs program is eligible. EPFL grants a limited number of fellowships to the most deserving candidates based on their academic records.
Cumulating this fellowship with other substantial scholarships is not possible. Candidates are required to declare all the scholarships they receive during their masterâs
If the master at EPFL is a second masterâs degree, candidates are not eligible for an excellence fellowship.
They should apply via the same online form than their application to a masterâs program by April 15 or December 15 (there is a box to tick indicating that the candidates profile should also be considered for an excellence fellowship).
There are no specific documents to be provided in addition to those required for the admission.
