Benefits

The scholarship offers:

  • For Bachelor’s and Master’s Studies: 350 euros per month.
  • For Doctoral Studies: 660 euros per month.

These funds are provided for a maximum of 12 months for degree studies and up to 10 calendar months for exchange studies. It is crucial for students to complete at least 75% of their curriculum to continue receiving the scholarship.

Students from various countries are eligible to apply, including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Egypt, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico, Moldova, People’s Republic of China, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Korea, Slovenia, Spain, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, and the United States of America.

Eligibility Criteria

Students from the eligible countries (mentioned above) can apply for this scholarship.

Application Procedure

Applications are to be submitted electronically, with the application period running from August 1st, 2024, to September 1st, 2024, at 23:59 Estonian time. The application form, once filled out, must be sent in Word format to the email address rvo.dokumendid@harno.ee. It is essential to ensure that the form is complete and accurate, as it cannot be modified after submission. Also, note that a signature on the application form is not required.

Required Documents

Applicants must submit:

  • A completed application form including a motivation letter.
  • A copy of the applicant’s passport or ID card.
  • A copy of the confirmation letter of admission to an Estonian higher education institution.
  • If these documents are not in English or Estonian, translations must be provided.

Applicants must ensure they meet all admission requirements and deadlines independently of the scholarship process.Additionally, the scholarship is highly competitive, with only around 10% of applicants historically receiving the award.
