Salary Coverage:

• Year 1: CHF 92,500 (Total CHF 106,400 including social security contributions)
• Year 2: CHF 97,200 (Total CHF 111,800 including social security contributions)
• Research Fund: CHF 10,000 per year for research expenses, including travel and mobility costs.

Eligible Nationalities

This scholarship is open to international students of all nationalities.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must hold a PhD degree or complete their PhD within the next six months before the submission deadline.
• The PhD must have been awarded within two years prior to the application deadline.
• Applicants must not have conducted research or lived in Switzerland for more than 12 months in the last three years.
• Those affiliated with ETH Zurich, EPFL, or other ETH domain institutions for more than six months in the last three years are ineligible.
• Must have at least one peer-reviewed journal publication or a recognized prize for their doctoral research.
• Applicants must be supported by an ETH Zurich professor willing to act as a mentor.
