The IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society (ITSS) is excited to announce the 2025 Fellowship Program aimed at promoting Women, Young Professionals, and Leadership within the field of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). This fellowship opportunity offers participants the chance to actively engage in the Annual ITS WiE/YP Workshop & Research Forum, scheduled to take place in Paris, France, from June 26 to June 28, 2025. The fellowship covers full travel expenses, including plane tickets, accommodation, and event registration fees. The application deadline is April 7, 2025.

About the IEEE ITSS Fellowship Program

The IEEE ITSS Fellowship Program 2025 is designed to encourage innovative thinking and global outreach while expanding the visibility of the ITS community. The fellowship aims to support participants in attending the Annual ITS WiE/YP Workshop & Research Forum in Paris, where they can interact with industry experts, participate in technical tours, and visit renowned research labs. Fellowship Streams

The 2025 Fellowship Program includes three unique streams to accommodate diverse contributions:

Social Media Ambassadors

Designed for individuals skilled in social media outreach, this stream aims to amplify the message of ITSS through innovative content, including podcasts, videos, and social media campaigns.

  1. Key Activities: Engaging the community, showcasing event highlights, and supporting ITSS’s social media strategy.
  2. Committee Involvement: Outreach Activities Committee.

First-Time Attendees

Targeted at emerging talents, this stream supports first-time attendees of the ITS Forum, fostering inclusivity and diversity by encouraging participation from women, underrepresented groups, and young professionals.

  1. Key Activities: Participate in discussions, network with experts, and contribute new perspectives.
  2. Committee Involvement: DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) Committee.

Outstanding Contributors

This stream acknowledges individuals who have made significant contributions to the ITS community, whether through innovative projects or academic achievements.

  1. Key Activities: Enhance ITS research and industry practices, develop educational content, and support standardization.
  2. Committee Involvement: Technical, Educational, Publications, Membership, or Standards Committees.

Degree Level

France IEEE-ITSS Fellowship Program 2025 (Fully Funded) is available to undertake Fellowship level programs at France Universities.

Proposal Title

  3. Timeline: Outline the milestones with a focus on 4-week intervals.
  4. Bio and Statement of Interest: Maximum 200 words, including previous ITSS involvement.
