Eligible Nationalities

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
Hold an Au.D., M.D., Ph.D., or equivalent degree.
Be appointed at a nonprofit educational, governmental, or research institution in the United States. Eligible positions include faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and clinical/research fellows. Medical residents in otolaryngology may also apply.
Note: Ph.D. students and medical residents outside otolaryngology are not eligible.
HHF especially encourages Early Stage Investigators (ESIs)—those within 10 years of their most recent terminal degree or medical residency—to apply. Senior investigators are also welcome to apply for specific topic-based grants.

Evaluation and Notification
Applications are rigorously reviewed by HHF's Scientific Review Committee and Council of Scientific Trustees.
