4. Must not currently hold any other Chinese scholarships, such as the Chinese Government Scholarship or Confucius Institute Scholarship.

2. Master’s: Bachelor’s degree; age limit: 35
3. Doctoral: Master’s degree; age limit: 45
4. Chinese Language Programs: High school diploma; age limit: 55
5. General Scholar Programs: Bachelor’s degree or sophomore; age limit: 30
6. Advanced Scholar Programs: Master's degree holder; age limit: 40
7. Research Scholar Programs: Doctoral degree holder or associate professor; age limit: 50

Language Requirements

1. Chinese-taught programs: HSK proficiency certificate
2. English-taught programs: IELTS/TOEFL for non-native speakers; English proficiency proof for native speakers
3. Chinese language programs: No prior language knowledge required
