• Living Stipend: You'll receive a monthly allowance of RM3,500 to cover various expenses. This includes:
• Cost of Living Allowance: Helps with everyday expenses like food and utilities.
• Book and Tools Allowance: Covers the cost of textbooks and any necessary academic materials for your studies.
• Housing Allowance: Provides financial support for renting accommodation in Malaysia.
• Placement and Thesis Allowance (if applicable): Offers additional funding for practical training or thesis research needs.
• Travel Allowance: Provides a one-time allowance to help with travel costs to and from Malaysia.
• Medical and Insurance Allowance: Ensures you have access to healthcare and insurance coverage during your studies.
• Return Airfare: The scholarship covers the cost of a round-trip economy class flight from your nearest international airport to Malaysia and back upon completion of your program.
• Payment Method: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia, will directly deposit your monthly allowance into a Malaysian bank account you open upon arrival in the country.

Eligibility Criteria

The MTCP scholarship is open to high-achieving graduates who meet the following criteria:

• Citizenship: You must be a citizen of a country on the list of MTCP recipient countries. You can find this list on the MTCP website https://mtcp.kln.gov.my/.
• Educational Intent: You must intend to pursue a full-time Master's degree program in Malaysia.
• Age: In most cases, you must be under 45 years old at the time of application.
• Academic Qualifications: You must have a strong academic background, typically a minimum of a Second Class Upper Honours degree (or equivalent) from your undergraduate studies.
• English Language Proficiency: You must demonstrate English language proficiency. This is usually met by achieving a minimum score on the IELTS or TOEFL exams, or by having completed your previous degree in English.
• Health: You must be in good health, as certified by a doctor.
• University Admission: You must have a valid offer letter from a Malaysian university for your chosen Master's program. There may be limitations on which universities are eligible for the MTCP scholarship; check the program guidelines for details.
• Study Commitment: You must be committed to full-time study for the duration of your Master's program.

• Academic Transcript: Upload a certified copy of your academic transcript. This document should include:
• A record of all courses taken throughout your undergraduate degree program.
• Transcripts specifically from your undergraduate studies.
• An official document from your university explaining the grading system if your transcript lacks CGPA, marks, or percentile information. (Ensure all documents are certified.)
