Nanjing Normal University in China is now accepting applications for the 2025 Chinese Government Scholarship "High Level Postgraduate" Program. This fully funded opportunity is available for international students aiming to pursue Master's or Ph.D. degrees. The scholarship covers tuition fees, provides on-campus accommodation, and offers a monthly living allowance of 3,000 CNY for Master's students and 3,500 CNY for Ph.D. students. The application deadline is February 28, 2025.

1. Master students: 3,000CNY/month
2. PhD students: 3,500CNY/month

• Comprehensive medical insurance: 800CNY per academic year. During studies, scholarship recipients are required to purchase comprehensive medical insurance.

Eligible Nationalities

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health and of good character.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Background:

• Master's Program: Bachelor's degree holders under the age of 35 with excellent academic performance.
• Ph.D. Program: Master's degree holders under the age of 40 with excellent academic performance.

Language Proficiency:

• Chinese-taught Programs: HSK Level 5 (≥180) for Master's applicants; HSK Level 6 (≥180) for Ph.D. applicants.
• English-taught Programs: IELTS score of 6.5 or above (no band below 6.0) or TOEFL score of 85 or above (minimum scores: 21 in writing, 18 in speaking, 15 in reading, and 15 in listening).

Application Procedure

• Online Application: Submit your application through Nanjing Normal University's international student service system by February 28, 2025.
• Pre-admission Notification: Successful candidates will receive pre-admission materials via email.
• CSC Application: Using the pre-admission documents, apply through the Chinese Government Scholarship Information System before March 21, 2025.

Required Documents:

• Copy of passport home page (valid beyond September 30, 2025).
• Notarized highest diploma and academic transcripts.
• Language proficiency certificates.
• Study plan or research proposal (minimum 1,000 words).
• Two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors.
• Non-criminal record report.
• Foreigner Physical Examination Record.
• Supervisor's Acceptance Letter (if available).
