No Bond:

• This scholarship is awarded with no obligation to work in Singapore following graduation.

Award Duration:

• The scholarship is initially awarded for one year. It can be renewed annually based on satisfactory academic progress.
• The maximum scholarship period is four years for PhD students. This duration can be determined by the specific school and the availability of research funding for each student.

Scholarship Amounts:

1. The scholarship provides a monthly stipend that varies based on citizenship and field of study:

• Singapore Citizens: S$4,000
• Singapore Permanent Residents: S$3,800
• International Students: S$3,500

2. For students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) fields:

• Singapore Citizens/Permanent Residents: S$6,700
• International Students: S$6,500

3. For students in Computing and Information Science (CIS) fields:

• Singapore Citizens/Permanent Residents: S$6,300
• International Students: S$6,100
• For students in non-CIS fields:
• Singapore Citizens/Permanent Residents: S$6,000
• International Students: S$5,800

Additional Allowances:

• Conference Allowance: Up to S$4,000 per year (April of the previous year to March of the current year) to support conference attendance.
• Book Allowance: Annual grant of S$500 to cover the cost of academic books.
• IT Allowance: One-time allowance of S$1,500 to help with the purchase of a computer.
• Thesis Allowance: One-time allowance of S$600 provided during the final year of the scholarship, if renewed.

Academic Requirement:

• Applicants must hold an Honours degree (First Class Honours or equivalent) at the bachelor's level.

Ongoing Studies:

• Applicants who are still completing their undergraduate studies can apply. However, they must provide official documentation from their university confirming they are on track to achieve an Honours degree (First Class Honours or equivalent).

Application Procedure for Nanyang Technological University President's Scholarship:

The application for Academic Year 2025-2026 (August 2025 and January 2026) will open from 01 October to 31 December 2024.
