Eligible Nationalities

This scholarship is open to international students from Quad countries (Australia, India, Japan, or the United States) or one of the 10 Southeast Asian countries (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, or Vietnam).

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Quad Fellowship 2025, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Educational Background:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field by August 2025.
• Prospective Graduate Students: Must have already applied to an eligible STEM graduate program at a U.S.-based university for the 2025-2026 academic year.
• Current Graduate Students: If already enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program in the U.S., must remain enrolled full-time for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Ineligible Programs: 

Clinical healthcare programs (medicine, veterinary science, dentistry, clinical psychology, nursing) and business programs (MBA, Business Analytics) are not eligible.

Application Procedure

The Quad Fellowship application process includes three key components:

Online Application:

• Submit three essays, background details, and three letters of recommendation.
• At least two letters must be from professors familiar with the candidate’s academic abilities.

Expert Review:

• Candidates are assessed on their STEM proficiency and research potential.

Final-Round Interview:

1. Evaluates the applicant’s passion for STEM and social impact, as well as integrity, curiosity, and global outlook.
2. Deadline: March 3, 2025 (Late applications will not be considered).
