The Free State of Bavaria has opened applications for its prestigious one-year scholarship program, designed to foster academic exchange between Bavaria and Central and Eastern Europe. Talented graduates from Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, and Ukraine are encouraged to apply for this unique opportunity to pursue postgraduate studies, PhDs, or research stays at Bavarian universities.

The scholarship provides a generous stipend of €934 per month, with additional support for students with children. Awardees will have the chance to immerse themselves in Germany's academic landscape, network with leading experts, and contribute to cutting-edge research.

Degree Level

State of Bavaria Scholarships 2025/2026 for International Students in Germany is available to undertake Masters, PhD, Research level programs at Germany Universities.
