Lithuania, a European Union member state, offers state-funded scholarships for international students pursuing full-time Master's degree or final two years of integrated studies at Lithuanian higher education institutions. Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Lithuanian State Scholarship for Master’s Studies 2025, applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Be a citizen of one of the following countries:
2. Armenia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, China (incl. Taiwan), Georgia, Israel, Japan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, New Zealand, South Korea, Ukraine, USA, Uzbekistan, or be a foreign citizen of Lithuanian origin from non-EU and non-EFTA countries.
3. Hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) by the end of the 2024-2025 academic year OR be a final-year integrated study student.
4. Demonstrate proficiency in the language of instruction (Lithuanian, English, or another).
5. Have an official acceptance or pre-acceptance letter from a Lithuanian university confirming their eligibility for a Master’s degree program.
6. Belarusian applicants must hold a valid residence permit in Lithuania.
7. Applicants must not have received this scholarship previously or hold a Master’s degree from any country.
8. For joint degree programs, funding is only provided for the part of studies held in Lithuania.

Termination of Scholarship

The financial support may be terminated if a student:

1. Fails to start or complete studies
2. Drops out or finishes studies early
3. Has academic debts or takes unauthorized academic leave
4. Fails to meet language learning requirements
5. Violates other scholarship terms
