Scholarships at Admission

Tampere University Tuition Fee Scholarships

These scholarships are awarded to the top-performing applicants in each program and cover 50% of the tuition fees for the entire duration of the program:

• 3 years for Bachelor’s programs
• 2 years for Master’s programs
• 5 years for combined Bachelor’s and Master’s programs

In exceptional cases, full tuition fee scholarships may be awarded to highly qualified applicants. To maintain the scholarship, students must demonstrate satisfactory academic progress throughout their studies.

Early Bird Offer

The early bird discount is available to all fee-paying students who are not awarded a Tampere University tuition fee scholarship. This offer provides a €1,500 reduction on the first year’s tuition fee, resulting in reduced fees of €8,500 or €10,500, depending on the program. To take advantage of this offer, students must accept their study place and pay the tuition fee within two weeks of receiving their admission decision.

Scholarships During Studies

• Tampere University Tuition Fee Scholarships: Partial or full coverage of tuition fees for one year at a time.
• International Advancement Scholarship: A €1,500 award for academic achievement during studies or at graduation.

Specialized Scholarship Programs

Fulbright-Tampere University Graduate Award: For U.S. students admitted to Master's programs. Applications are typically due in early October. Students can apply for Tampere University scholarships simultaneously while awaiting the Fulbright decision.

Erasmus Mundus Programs: Students enrolled in these programs are not eligible for Tampere University Scholarships.
