These scholarships, available for both English and Vietnamese-taught undergraduate programs, offer exceptional opportunities for international students to access world-class education with financial support ranging from partial to full coverage of tuition and dormitory fees. Degree Level

The three types of undergraduate programs, which are offered to international students, are

Here are the benefits of each scholarship program offered by Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) for the 2024-2025 Academic Year:

1. Scholarships for Undergraduate Programs Taught in English

Full Scholarship Benefits:

• 100% Tuition Fee Coverage: Covers the entire tuition fee for the undergraduate program (excluding any courses retaken).
• 100% Dormitory Fee Coverage: Includes the full cost of dormitory accommodation.

Partial Scholarship Benefits:

• 50-75% Tuition Fee Coverage: Partial tuition fee coverage based on the scholarship awarded.
• 100% Dormitory Fee Coverage: Full coverage of dormitory accommodation costs.

2. Scholarships for Undergraduate Programs Taught in Vietnamese

Full Scholarship Benefits:

• 100% Tuition Fee Coverage for Vietnamese Language Class: Covers the entire fee for the Vietnamese language course (excluding retaken courses).
• 100% Tuition Fee Coverage for Undergraduate Program: Full tuition fee coverage for the undergraduate program (excluding retaken courses).
• 100% Dormitory Fee Coverage: Includes the full cost of dormitory accommodation.

Partial Scholarship Benefits:

• 100% Tuition Fee Coverage for Vietnamese Language Class: Covers the entire fee for the Vietnamese language course (excluding retaken courses).
• 50-75% Tuition Fee Coverage for Undergraduate Program: Partial tuition fee coverage based on the scholarship awarded.
• 100% Dormitory Fee Coverage: Full coverage of dormitory accommodation costs.

Scholarship Retention Requirements:

For Programs Taught in English: 

• Maintain a GPA of at least 6.0 each academic year.

For Programs Taught in Vietnamese:

• Pass the Vietnamese language proficiency test (B2 level) to enter the undergraduate program.
• Maintain a GPA of at least 5.0 each academic year.

Eligible Nationalities

This scholarship is open to domestic and international students of all nationalities.

Eligibility Criteria

Academic Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent: Applicants must have graduated from high school or an equivalent program in 2022, 2023, or 2024.
• Minimum GPA: The final year GPA must be at least 6.5/10.0.

Note: Applicants with an IB Diploma are eligible only for joint-training programs leading to a single degree.

Language Proficiency Requirements:

1. Undergraduate Programs Taught in Vietnamese:

• Vietnamese Language Proficiency Test: Applicants must have a Vietnamese language proficiency test result or certificate of at least B2 level.
• TDTU Vietnamese Language Study: Alternatively, applicants can attend a one-year Vietnamese language study program at TDTU and pass the final Vietnamese language proficiency test at at least B2 level.

2. Undergraduate Programs Taught in English:

• Native English Speakers: Citizens from English-speaking countries are exempt from this requirement.
• IELTS: Applicants must have a valid IELTS score of at least 5.5 or an equivalent English language proficiency certificate.

Additional Requirements:

1. Pharmacy Major:

• Final Year GPA: The final year GPA must be marked as "Good" or above.
• Chemistry Score: The average Chemistry score in the final year of high school or equivalent must be at least 7.0/10.0.
