UCL MRes Biosciences Scholarship 2024-2025 in UK is available to undertake MRes level programs at University College London.

The student will graduate in ONE of the following subjects

• Biology of Ageing and Age-related Disease
• Biochemistry 
• Structural Biology
• Biotechnology
• Cell Biology
• Computational Biology
• Evolution and Origins of Life
• Integrative Anatomy
• Neuroscience
• Pharmacology
• Stem Cells and Developmental Genetics

Benefits for UCL MRes Biosciences Scholarship:

• Financial Support: Covers full tuition fees at the standard home rate for the 2024/25 academic year (£19,300). An additional living stipend of £10,000 is provided to help with your expenses while enrolled in the program.
• Mentorship: The scholarship also includes mentoring support to offer guidance and assistance throughout your studies.
• Duration: This scholarship is valid for the entire 2024-2025 academic year.

Eligible Nationalities for UCL MRes Biosciences Scholarship:

This scholarship is only open to UK students.

Eligibility Criteria for UCL MRes Biosciences Scholarship:

1. Be a current applicant to the MRes Biosciences program.
2. Be a permanent resident of the UK and identify as one of the following ethnic groups:

• Black or Black British - Caribbean
• Black or Black British - African
• Other Black background
• Asian or Asian British - Bangladeshi
• Asian or Asian British - Pakistani

Number of Scholarships Available:

• One scholarship is available for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Selection Criteria:

• A UCL committee will carefully review applications based on the following factors:
• Academic Merit: Your prior academic achievements will be evaluated through your transcripts, references, and CV.
• Financial Need: Your socio-economic background will be considered to assess financial need. You will be required to submit a separate financial need application form.
• Personal Statement: Your personal statement within the MRes Biosciences program application should explicitly state your interest in the 2024 UCL MRes Biosciences Scholarship Scheme.
• Interview (Optional): You may be invited for an interview to further assess your suitability for the program and scholarship.

Application Procedure for UCL MRes Biosciences Scholarship:

• Complete MRes Biosciences Application: Submit a full application for the MRes Biosciences program.
• Indicate Scholarship Interest: In your personal statement within the MRes Biosciences program application, clearly state that you are applying for the 2024 UCL MRes Biosciences Scholarship Scheme.
