1. UEF Scholarship

  • Coverage: 100% tuition fee waiver.
  • Duration: Covers full study period (3 years for Bachelor’s, 2 years for Master’s).

2. UEF Tuition Waiver

  • Coverage: 30% or 50% of tuition fees.

Duration:
  • Bachelor’s: 3 academic years (6 semesters).
  • Master’s: 2 academic years (4 semesters).

50% Tuition Waiver:

  • Available for all other international Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes, but granted to a limited number of students.

3. Finnish Proficiency Tuition Waivers

UEF encourages students to learn Finnish by offering proficiency-based waivers:

  • 100% waiver: For students achieving "Intermediate Level 3 or 4" in the YKI Finnish Language Test.
  • 50% waiver: For students completing UEF’s Finnish 3 course.

4. Humanitarian Scholarship (Temporary Protection Holders)

  • Coverage: 100% tuition fee waiver.
  • Refund Policy: If a student pays tuition and later receives temporary protection status, the fee will be refunded.

These scholarships are open for international students of all nationalities.

International students from outside the EU, EEA, or Switzerland are required to pay tuition fees unless they meet one of the following exemption criteria:

Tuition Fees for International Students

The tuition fee for international Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes at UEF is €10,000 per academic year. These fees apply only to students from outside the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA), and Switzerland.

  • Bachelor’s Programmes: Typically take three years to complete, requiring a total payment of €30,000.
