3. Finnish Proficiency Tuition Waivers
UEF encourages students to learn Finnish by offering proficiency-based waivers:
100% waiver: For students achieving "Intermediate Level 3 or 4" in the YKI Finnish Language Test.
50% waiver: For students completing UEF’s Finnish 3 course.
Refund Policy: If a student pays tuition and later receives temporary protection status, the fee will be refunded.

Tuition Fees for International Students
The tuition fee for international Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes at UEF is €10,000 per academic year. These fees apply only to students from outside the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA), and Switzerland.
