Eligibility Criteria

• This scholarship is a fee waiver for a specific International Summer Programme offered by the University of Leicester.
• Before applying for the scholarship, you must be accepted into your chosen International Summer Programme.
• The scholarship only covers tuition fees. You will be responsible for all other expenses, such as travel, accommodation, visa application fees, and insurance.
• This scholarship is only valid for the 2024 International Summer Programmes. It cannot be used for future summer programs.
• To be eligible, you must meet the program's admission requirements. After scholarship selection, successful applicants will have their documents verified before receiving an invitation letter.
• The scholarship cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be used for any other University of Leicester course.
• The University of Leicester has the final say on scholarship awards. The decision is final, and there is no appeals process.
• The University reserves the right to change or withdraw the scholarship offer if the chosen program is cancelled. You will be notified if this happens.

As an application, please submit a 150-word personal statement written in English including: 

• Why you should be awarded the scholarship
• How you expect to benefit from attending your chosen International Summer Programme
• How you would contribute to the International Summer Programme
