Degree Requirements:

  • A first-class or strong upper second-class undergraduate degree with honors in a relevant humanities discipline.
  • For US applicants, a minimum overall GPA of 3.6 is generally required. Most successful applicants have a higher GPA.

Competitiveness: 

Admission is highly competitive; most successful applicants have achieved a first-class degree or its equivalent.

International Qualifications: 

Applicants with degrees from outside the UK or USA should check the International Qualifications page for equivalent requirements.

GRE/GMAT: 

No GRE or GMAT scores are required.

Additional Qualifications and Experience:

  • Publications are not required.
  • No previous coding or technical expertise is required.

English Language Proficiency:

  • Requires proficiency at the University's higher level.
  • Minimum scores:
  1. IELTS Academic: Overall 7.5, with at least 7.0 in each component.
  2. TOEFL iBT: Overall 110, with component scores: Listening 22, Reading 24, Speaking 25, Writing 24.
  3. C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency: Overall 191, with at least 185 in each component.
  • Test results must be no older than two years from the course start date.
