Please note: This scholarship does not cover any additional costs associated with your studies at the University of Sydney. These expenses include, but are not limited to:

• Overseas Health Cover (OSHC)
• Living expenses
• Accommodation
• Textbooks
• Flights
• Costs associated with being under the age of 18

Eligible Nationalities for University of Sydney International Academic Excellence Scholarship:

This scholarship is open to international students of all nationalities. 

Eligibility Criteria for University of Sydney International Academic Excellence Scholarship:

Applicants must be:

• International students (as defined by the Higher Education Support Act 2003). This scholarship is not available to Australian citizens, permanent residents, or dual citizens with Australian nationality.
• Applying for, but haven't yet commenced, a single undergraduate coursework degree (including embedded honors) at the University of Sydney with a maximum duration of 4 years. Only applications for eligible courses will be considered (see website for details). This scholarship excludes combined degrees with postgraduate components, the Bachelor of Arts (Dual Degree, Sciences Po, France), Bachelor of Economics (Dual Degree, Sciences Po, France), and degrees including the Bachelor of Advanced Studies.

Students must:

• Enroll full-time in their chosen eligible degree.
• Be commencing their first degree at the University of Sydney.
• Have completed secondary school or a foundation program in Australia or from a recognized foundation partner of the University of Sydney.
• Not have undertaken any previous tertiary studies (excluding extension studies completed as part of a year 12 program).
