1. For Aspiring Lawyers (Level II & III LLB Students):

The Judge Sylvia Hinds-Radix TrailBlazer Scholarship:Award: BDS$3,000.00

• Open to: Students with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and a strong interest in civil service and governmental law.
• Requirement: Submit a 500-word essay discussing your passion for this field and how you demonstrate leadership through community service.

2. For Budding Sports Scientists (Incoming Students):

The Grant Scholarships for Continued Learning and Development:Award: BDS$2,500.00 per year for three years

• Open to: Nationals of Barbados pursuing a full-time B.Sc Sport Sciences degree. 
• Requirement: Minimum GPA equivalent to a B or CAPE A Levels at Grades 1 and 2 in relevant subjects.

3. Future Leaders in the Caribbean Aviation Industry (Continuing Students):

interCaribbean Airways, The Manville "Donnie" Gardiner Memorial Annual Scholarships: Award: Five scholarships worth BDS$5,000.00 each

• Open to: Nationals of any UWI contributing country, pursuing a degree in Social Sciences (Accounting, Banking, Economics, etc.) with a minimum GPA of 3.3.
• Requirement: Submit a 500-800 word narrative detailing your academic journey, overcoming challenges, and future aspirations. You'll also have the chance to intern at interCaribbean Airways!
• Apply to: Manville Gardiner Memorial Annual Scholarship Form (Deadline: July 15th, 2025)

4. For Promising Male Business Students (Incoming Students):

The Colette Delaney Scholarship for Students in Business Studies:Award: US$3,000.00 per year

• Open to: Male students from any UWI Contributing Country with exceptional academic potential (minimum GPA equivalent to a B+ or CAPE A Levels at Grades 1 and 2).
• Eligible Programs: Accounting & Finance, Banking & Finance, Economics & Accounting, Economics & Management, Management, Innovation & Entrepreneurship (or equivalent).

5. For Aspiring Scientists (Various Levels):

This scholarship is open to domestic and international students of all nationalities.

Eligibility Criteria

• Most scholarships and bursaries require a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Some awards may require a higher GPA.
• A few awards may accept a minimum GPA of 2.5.
• Awards are available to full-time undergraduate students at The University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus (unless specified otherwise).
